Bolton, Blackburn trials for Perth youngster

Bolton, Blackburn trials for Perth youngster
tribalfooball.com - July 27, 2007

Teenager Ryan Pearson headed overseas in pursuit of life long dream. The 18-year old Armadale striker yesterday departed for England where he has trials lined up with a number of clubs. "I know it will be hard work but it's great to get the opportunity to trial," Pearson told footballwa.net. "I'll be at Premier League sides Bolton Wanderers first and we'll see how that goes. I've also got trials planned with other Premier League sides, Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers, and League One side Tranmere Rovers."
It's been a roller coaster season for the teenager who only recently reclaimed his spot in the line-up after a recovering from a broken toe.

"It's unfortunate that they need me over in the UK for trials so soon and I won't be able to finish the season off for the Reds," Pearson commented. "I'm starting to back into the routine again. I'm just about on top of my game at the moment, and the more I play, and the more match practice I get is making me stronger. I've really enjoyed my time at the club, and I'd like to thank Billy Russell and Tom Kilkelly for their advice they've past on to me this season, and to Peter Murphy for last season."
On behalf of the club, Armadale president Bill Easton wished Pearson all the best in his endeavours while abroad.
"It's a dream for players to go overseas for trials and we as a club wish Ryan all the best," commented Easton. "He's worked hard to get back to full fitness after breaking his toe, and although it's unfortunate he can't be in the Reds side this weekend in our quarter-finals cup clash against Swan I.C. it's great for him to have the opportunity in the UK."
