Birmingham denied reports they have already signed Tottenham midfielder Hossam Ghaly, insisting the deal is "nowhere near" being finalised. The Egyptian international has been quoted claiming he has passed a medical and signed a contract with the Midlands club.
Ghaly told Dream TV: "I have put the finishing touches to the move and signed the contract.
"I passed the medical and will link up with my new Birmingham team-mates within the next couple of days."
But a Blues spokesman said the deal was "nowhere near" being finalised.
