Liverpool's Guthrie: Bolton move good for me

Liverpool midfielder Danny Guthrie has no regrets over his loan switch to Bolton Wanderers this season.

Despite the team's plight, Guthrie is enjoying his time at the Reebok Stadium after a similar spell with Southampton last season.

"Every game I play in, I learn something new. I am here to pick up experience and just want to play, " he told Radio Manchester.

"Like any player you always want to be in the team. If that does not happen, you just grit your teeth and train hard.

"I love expressing myself and even though we lost to City it was one of our best performances of the season.

"We can take a lot of positives from that game and I am sure lady luck will shine on us soon."

Kevin Nolan and Nicky Hunt are banned, and Liverpool loanee Danny Guthrie cannot play but Gavin McCann should be ok despite a head wound against Aris.
