Ronaldinho SOLD TO LEEDS UNITED -25M

Leeds United have completed the capture of Brazil superstar Ronaldinho from Manchester United for £25million.

Ronaldinho: Leeds' new signing

Quote:
The former Fifa World Player of the Year has penned a six-year deal with the Elland Road giants.

The acquisition of the skilful forward completes a remarkable turnaround for the West Yorkshire outfit, who just three years ago were playing League One football.

"This is a dream come true," he told the club's official website.

"Leeds are one of the best teams in the world and I look forward to winning trophies."

Ronaldinho is expected to make his first appearance in a Leeds shirt in this weekend's friendly against Milan.

Come here and tell me what team you support!

I support West Brom but hopefully we can achieve success this season with the signings we have made.

Great spelling there in the title :| leauge 2 I think you mean league 2 mate. How old are you ? Judging from your lack of good spelling skills & grammar I think I would guess 15 but you could actually be only 11 with that sort of mad skills.

You get me ?

What was your result this weekend ?

West Brom lost 2-1 We were winning one nil everything looking fine, we were bossing the game and then they score a free-kick and we self-destruct and lose 2-1 in the end.

Coca-Cola Leagues

Torquay United, the one and only true team for me (aswell as England) are in the `Blue Square Premier League`(Formaly known as the Conference) have played thier first match today (Sunday) with a 0-0 draw with Grays Athletic on t.v (Setanta).

A lot of things have changed since we got relegated from the Football League, we have new owners, new manager, 16 new players, new reserve and youth team (I`m goalkeeper for the youth team) and we are refurbishing the ground and we are looking to bounce back to the Football League at the first attempt.

TORQUAY4EVER

Brighton's Oatway forced to quit

Brighton's Oatway forced to quit

Oatway served Brighton under a succession of different managers

Brighton captain Charlie Oatway has been forced to retire after picking up a second serious injury.
The midfielder, 33, has not played a competitive game since Boxing Day 2005 because of an ankle problem.
He finally returned to action this summer, but then ruptured knee cartilage in a pre-season friendly against Billericay last month.
"It is with an extremely heavy heart that I have made this decision," he told the Seagulls' website.
"It has been a nightmare over the past year and a half.
"Having come back from one major injury, I was hopeful of making a full return to action, but to suffer another just as serious left me facing a difficult decision.
606: DEBATE
I'd like to thank Charlie for all he has done

UKA

"I always felt I had a few more years to offer, but I have very little choice for the sake of my future health."

Hammersmith-born Oatway began his career at non-league Yeading, before spells with Cardiff, Torquay, Brentford and Lincoln.
He joined Brighton in the summer of 1999 and made 224 league appearances for the Albion.
Seagulls boss Dean Wilkins added: "It is horrendous bad luck for Charlie and my heart goes out to him.
"He has been a tremendous servant to the club over the last eight years and all of the coaching staff and players will miss his presence."
Chairman Dick Knight said: "It is sad that after all his hard recovery work that injury has forced his retirement now.
"But the important job in our community programme I offered him some time ago will now take immediate effect.
"I'm certain that Charlie will bring the same leadership qualities to his new challenge with the Albion as he did to his playing career."

Torquay 0-0 Grays

Torquay 0-0 Grays

Torquay's life under new owners, a new manager and in a new division began in unconvincing fashion when they were held by Grays Athletic at Plainmoor. Grays had the better of the first half and only a goal-line clearance by Torquay captain Steve Woods prevented Danny Kedwell scoring after 14 minutes.
Torquay settled after the break and Lee Phillips and Tony Bedeau went close.
Chris Hargreaves also had a chance for the home side but his 85th-minute header fizzed past the post.

Ebbsfleet complete triple capture

Ebbsfleet complete triple capture

Ebbsfleet United boss Liam Daish has completed a hat-trick of new signings on the eve of the new season. Daish drafted in ex-Barnet keeper Scott Tynan, 23, and Tynan helped Fleet beat Northwich on Saturday.
Former Brighton and Torquay striker Chris McPhee, 24, also made his debut as a substitute after agreeing terms following an impressive trial spell.
Daish has also signed right-sided defender Phil Starkey, 19, following his release by Crystal Palace.
