Fulham have appointed Roy Hodgson (seen here in September 2007) as their new manager, the Premier League club has announced.

LONDON (AFP) - Fulham have appointed Roy Hodgson as their new manager, the Premier League club announced on Friday.

Hodgson has signed a long-term contract which will start on December 30, with caretaker manager Ray Lewington in charge of Saturday's game at Birmingham.
