All i can say is that the EPL is definetely the most EXCITING league in the world the ball never stops it's amazing then will come

2- serie A
3- Sapnish
4- bundesliga
5- french
6- scottish ( sometimes veery entertainig)
7- portuguese ( also very entertainting at some times )
8- J-league ( if you want to be entertained , watch this , they score so many goals in some games )

The rest of the leagues , i haven't watched so can't really evaluate but what i can say is that the american league is sh*t , no offence guys but i feel the people don't really understand the game , they just want to be entertained.
just like american football , not the players that play but the people that watch they want to be entertained plus never liked the players over there , i haven't seen a full match but from the goals i see , donovan gets past like the defenders liike he's playing with himself , maybe it's better than any arabic league but not a world class league just MY OPINION

Before I make my list I would like to say this. If any of you think an MLS team could compete against a team like say, Liverpool then you clearly have no idea about football. For example, imagine the best MLS team (I have no idea who that is) went to Anfield. Now, take into consideration that only two weeks ago, one of the top sides in Turkey, Besiktas ( a league which I consider isn't actually too bad) got completley destroyed and outplayed and lost 8-0. Now, I know for a fact that Besiktas would most probably take an MLS team home & away, and probably annialate them at home (seeing as they managed to beat Liverpoool there and agve Porto a strong run for there money. You guys have seriously got to stop putting bias in this. When I make my list I am choosing now bias whatsoever, this is what I genuinley think.

I have put consideration into teams playing each other and what the outcomes would be, and also thinking of past results. I am talking about the top sides and the weaker sides.

For example, say if I am comparing La Liga and EPL, I have thought about what the outcomes would be for the bigger and smaller sides of each league.

Like the result of: Barcelona vs Manchester United

and then say Bilbao vs Wigan. I have come to this conclusion, and this is totally unbiased, just my opinion, in terms of quality:

1. English Premiership (This is due to the foreign players, we all now English players suck.)
2. Spanish La Liga ( Despite not being too keen on this league, the quality of teams goes right throughout the league.)
3. Serie A (Probably the league I find most interesting, a number of quality sides in there.)
4. French ligue 1 (It's true that maybe it isn't the most entertaining, but they produce such top players that there is always quality in there.)
5. German Bundesliga (Never know whats going to happen. I cannot put this any higher when you consider the current disastrous runs in Europe.)
6. Portuguese BWIN Liga (The league I watch the most. Always producing heaps of talent, but the number of unknow and poor Brasilians and lack of finance at the clubs outside the big 3 brings us down.)
7. Dutch Eredivise (Very close with the above two. A few years ago I would rate it higher, but even the top sides are doing nothing in Europe right now. Some good players in the league but no longer challenger the better leagues.)
8. Brasilian League (A very dirty league, and lose thier top players very quickly but with the talent they produce there will always be quality.)
9. Turkish Super Lig (Have challenged much wealthier countries in recent years. Now have Fener, Gala and Besiktas flying the flag for them in Europe.)
10. Argentina (Same reasons as Brasil.)

I think you will find that is fairly accurate.

Yes your's was pretty accurate but the MLS is better than the Brazil and Argentine League. Im not being biased but its true...., and French Ligue 1 ahead of the bundesliga?

I have watched more football over the last 16 years than you probably will in your life time. And yes, The Brasilian league is renowned for a large number of bookings and red cards. And maybe I do not watch MLS, but I have enough knowledge of the world game to say that the MLS does not even come close to some of the major European leagues. It's a fact. This isn't a "Be biased and patriotic" thread.

Buddy, I live, eat, and breathe soccer. An MLS team and a Brazilian team could easily put a decent fight in the EPL, you continue using Liverpool, they might not be able to overcome them, but they could easily compete with some of the lower teams like Derby and Wigan. I think we should have a poll to see if the Brazilian league is really as dirty as you say it is, with all those red cards and stuff.

What is a poll going to acheive?

Live eat and breathe eh? Shame you can't call it by its proper name. It's FOOTBALL not SOCCER.

And lmao mate. You haven't even seen some of the Championship teams. You put an MLS team against a hardnut Championship English team and I tell you know they will get destroyed. Perhaps not through talent, but because the team they would be playing against put so much into every run, every tackle that the Americans couldn't live with it.

Now you see, when you're from a country like Im from, or from England, Italy, whatever you get 100% passion, 100% commitment. The fans are serious ULTRAS. Football is THE Sport. We don't fuck about playing some version of Rugby in a helmet. Football is the world game and America will never wake up to that fact.

I'm not American you dumbass, and I call it soccer because that's the way it goes by where I am, and that's what these forums are named after.

You think Wigan doesn't get killed when they go up against a "hardnut team"?

You don't know nothin bud, in Brazil people are so passionate they kill themselves when they lose a game, so don't say you know the 110% that goes into the game. Do you even play?

Yes I do play. I was formaly in my local's team academy and grew up playing on the streets of Coimbra in my socks with whatever ball we could afford. Canada/America? Fuck that man you're the same to me. When it comes to "soccer" you're the same. It'll never be your first sport. And yes I know exactly how passionate Brasilians are, I have been to games involving Brasil in the past I know only too wlel. When did i say they weren't? I know Brasil produces some of the best footballers on the planet but does that mean they have a top leage? The answer to that question is NO.

The reason being for that is because the lack of finance and the number of clubs who are in the red and so close to going under. The players grow up in poor family's and not only do they see football as their passion but it could make their family's life so much better. Why do you think there are so many Brasilians playing in Portugal? The reason beiong is that the smaller Portugese clubs are always looking for cheap talent, and they cnanot afford ot look elsewhere. And from the Brasilian point of view, they just want to get to Europe as fast as they can. That is why the talent is going out of the Brasilian league and that is why it is not one of the best teams in the world.

And lmfao mate. Why the hell do you think Wigan got into the Premiership? Do you think they did it by playing samba Brasilian style football? No. The answer is they got stuck and played hard. So how can you say they are worse than one of these hardnut championship teams.

If I were you i would keep my mouth shut on this topic, you are digging your hole deeper.

Yes, a team like that is worse then a team like Liverpool, and a Brazilian team like Sao Paulo or a lot more for that matter could last a day in the EPL.
And when you say there are so many Brazilians playing in portugal? That is also wrong. You think I don't know about the lack of finance of clubs in Brazil? I've been saying that for the past million posts. And yes, people in North America do know about that situation, for all your criticism of us, some of us are in many ways simalar to your "hardcore fans" of England. it's not our fault are parents came here to live a better life, we bring the passion of the game here. In my community, if you came up to someone and asked about this ***** they would know probably almost as much as you do.

Also, I lived in Brazil for over 10 years. I played in my bare feet with a bunch of towels packed together for many years when I was young. It wasn't until when I was 6 until my parents finally bought me a ball. And still then, I barely ever used it because I loved it so much. I do not have this ball today because I gave it to my very good friend before I left. So when you say all this shit about Americans, you need to actually live in our shoes for a day. There will come a day when Soccer is one of the first sports, and in many places and communities it already is.

I'm not saying you don't know about the lack of finance and I feel very sorry for the big Brasilian clubs who cannot compete with the European ginats. But you saying I am under-rating them? I'm not. I am speaking the truth and I can only apologise if it hurts you. it hurts me too, the fact that Portugal also cannot compete with leagues such as the Premiership La Liga and Serie A.

I am going to ignore the compete about American/Canadian fans because I find that laughable. If you compare the population of you guys against the "proper" Americans so to speak, I think you will come out with a rather low percentage.

And mate, America is all about Baseball and "Football", not "soccer". And I see no change in that. If the best thing they can do is take David Beckham over there, or one star name every twenty years or so, they have a long way to go.

I agree with you that Bayern Munich is the only german team for european cups....But i just don't think that teams from the Brazil and/or Argentina league can get even close to any team in Europe.

Yes, most of the great players are Brazilien or Argentinian and they start their career in the their own country before they come to Europe.....But that is exactly my point. As soon as a great player comes along the European teams are all over him....So, The great players might all be from Brazil and/or Argentian, but they all play in European teams, even in the German Bundesliga.

So again, I agree with you that the German Bundesliga is not one of the best leagues in Europe, but i just don't think teams from Brazil and Argentina can compete with European teams.

wow that was long discussion .

Anyway everything's cool in your ratings amo te benfica but I think that bundesliga is better than the french league and the J- league should be put somewhere inside there , entertainment wise , it's pretty good and also not like the MLS the people there love the game , they show up with huge amounts to every game unlike the MLS a lot of people could go to the stadium but that's just to have a beer and a little fun like in australia also .
