I am relatively new to soccer. My daughter plays in a local club.
The club just had a large tournament over the weekend and there were teams and terms that I didn't understand. For example, in one game we played a Nasa team. Is there a special significance with the name nasa? A friend of mine had a daughter playing a Real (Ree - Al) team. Again, what signifies a real team? ![]() |

I have no idea about the Nasa thing, only thing I could think of is the Space program lol.
With the Real name, I don't think there is much significance. It is what it means.

i think some teams want to pretend they are more classy or whatever so they add real to the front of there name...just because there is a team called real madrid doesnt mean that putting real in front of your town or whatever has any signifigance...
