    Smile Soccer playingv adive :)

    Hi!
just looking for some advice. I play for a club and have always been like a multi position player and its starting to hurt my chances of playing higher up as im not perfect at anything just good at everything. Like I played stopper, one year, keeper this year, and before that I played midfield. I feel I'm most comfortable at goalkeeper but I'm not tall enough sadly , standing at 5"11. I've always been a good goalscorer usually leading the team whenever given the opportunity to do so, basically what I'm asking is....is it too late to change my position to 1 designated position as like striker or attacking midfield at age 17? sorry for the long read thanks in advance for the advice http://www.soccerforums.com/forums/i...cons/icon7.gif

Dude dont let any coach/ parent / teammate tell you thats its no vital to be able to play all the positions on the pitch... Total footbal is a dutch term where every player can play every position on a soccer team... If youve played enter mid and then your coach now wants you to play ourtside defender cant you see how that will help you??? how many outside defenders do you see even on the ollege level who cant keep possesion for there team it is sad. How many enter strikers cant win a tackle it is sad. Being able to lpay more then one position is not a problem it is a gift that will in the long run make you a much better player in whatever position you end up playing!Hope this helps
