VfL Bochum 1848 have signed Mimoun Azaouagh from FC Schalke 04. The 25 year-old offensive midfielder is on loan at Bochum until the end of the season. Both parties agreed not to speak about the details of the transfer. Kuntz happy Azaouagh has played in 44 Bundesliga matches for Mainz and Schalke and scored three goals. The Moroccan native has also appeared in 48 matches in the 2. Bundesliga and scored four goals. The midfielder has seen action six times for the German U21 national team. "Mimoun Azaouagh is a dynamic player with strong technique. His playing abilities will strengthen our offence", said Stefan Kuntz, CEO of VfL Bochum 1848, about the transfer. | ||
