| Forssell heads for Hannover
Quote: Birmingham's Finland striker Mikael Forssell confirmed on Friday he has agreed to join Hannover on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old has signed a contract with the Bundesliga side until the summer of 2011.
Forssell was a member of the Birmingham squad relegated from the Premier League this month.
"I am looking forward to playing for Hannover and in the Bundesliga," said Forssell.
Hanover's sporting director Christian Hochstatter, who worked with the injury-plagued striker during his brief spell at Borussia Monchengladbach five years ago, told the club's official website: "We are very happy that we could persuade Mikael to join Hanover." | FIFA.com - Forssell heads for Hannover
