Manchester City are close to sealing a deal for Juventus fullback Giorgio Chiellini. Juventus are due to play pre-season friendlies in England and Germany, but coach Claudio Ranieri reports 22-year-old Chiellini may not return to Italy.
"Will he come back to Turin with us? It will depend on him, Manchester City and Juventus," Ranieri told skysports.com.
"He is an important player, but if he does want to leave then we surely won't keep him against his will."
