Striker Emile Heskey should be fit despite limping off in the same game with a hamstring strain.

Bolton boss Gary Megson on maintaining his side's form from the Red Star game
"Each side we name has got to put in that kind of effort, honesty and drive.

"If we continue to do that, then hopefully we can achieve our target of making the top ten.

"We have a nice problem when it comes to selection after the result in Belgrade on a paddy field."

Wigan boss Steve Bruce on his opposite number:
"We've had a few tussles over the years, and he's won a few and I've won a few. It's been enjoyable.

"Whenever you face one of Gary's teams you know they will be well organised, hard to beat and very hard working.

"To be fair to Gary, he has gone in there and shook them up a bit and got them playing the way he wants to play."

BIG-MATCH FACTS

This is a massive match for two of the Premier League's bottom four, who have gained just four league victories between them; two each.

Bolton's only maximum in 11 league outings was 1-0, against Manchester United in their last home fixture.

Wigan have lost their last six league matches on the road, but victory here would see them leapfrogging the Trotters.

Bolton are chasing their 100th victory in the Premier League; the Latics need a maximum to pass the 100 points mark in their Premier League history, being on 98 at present.

Wigan are yet to lose a Premier League match on Bolton turf; one win and one draw so far.
